It was a fascinating journey into the valleys of Bhutan this year. I can still hear the prayer bells and feel the flags waving in the winds. Those majestic Dzongs (and, monasteries, nunneries), stupas, rivers, valleys and the wilderness that make Bhutan so special are worth witnessing once in a lifetime. It is very hard to come back to a normal routine after experiencing those beautiful moments. All day I dream of these landscapes and as I close my eyes I get transported back to the magical heaven.

I close my eyes

to open into the wider valleys

to hear the prayer wheels and flags

to see rivers cutting through the forest slopes

to the majestic mountains and ridges

to witness the wild mountain flowers

to all those species thriving in the wild

and to the happy souls!

Here are some photographs from my journey into these beautiful landscapes. Click on the images to expand.
